Haiku is a beautiful short form of poetry that focuses on a brief moment in time, and a sense of sudden illumination or enlightenment. It  is usually composed  in three short lines and it normally doesn’t rhyme.

Haikus are often  moving and thought provoking like the one above written by Ikuyo Yoshimura and included in the “Haiku for Lovers” book.
