Photography for me starts as an attempt to explore the world through capturing captivating moments. Impactful photography goes even further – it is a way to engage the viewer by telling a unique story that provokes thoughts and questions.
I recently came across the works of the young Bulgarian photographer Aneta Ivanova and was inspired by her distinctive style. It is multi layered not only in terms of the approach that she uses (merging different images), but also because of the metaphorical way she conveys her message. This is what makes her images stay with you for a long time after you see them.
